The RTP Skills Program

You get paid to upskill

Primary Audience: Full-time employed data and technology professionals in the nonprofit sector.

Purpose: The Skills Program is an opportunity for nonprofit professionals to learn new technical skills through real hands-on projects. Additionally, it’s an authentic networking opportunity so that other nonprofits can learn of your work.

How it works:

  1. Submit an application.

  2. After an interview, you will be notified whether you are accepted into the Program.

  3. You obtain written approval from your employer to become a Skills Fellow.

  4. I find real, paid, hands-on projects for Fellows to work on by my side. I work with you on the project as an architect and mentor, teaching you new skills, and providing feedback.

  5. When the project is concluded, I pay you fairly for the time you committed to the project and you bring your skills back to your employer.
